Where The Hell Did The Writer Go?
Well hi. π Many people may have forgotten that I actually write novels from time to time. But, for those that didn’t, and can still vaguely remember characters like Alex, Kevin, Victoria, Jack….then this post is for you.
I’m still working on Witch Trial. I do go radio silent, and I’m sorry for that. But take that as a good thing. It means I’m working. π But I promise to make a better effort to get more posts out there. The problem is a lot of those posts are just “don’t worry, I’m working on it”.
It’s 50K words in at the moment, so more than half done. Cool thing is ideas from this novel will flow into the next one, so I’ve already got ideas ready to go for that one. This novel threw a few stumbling blocks at me, but the rest of it is mapped out, and the finale is going to be a lot of fun, and challenging at the same time.
Getting ready to get back to a character I haven’t touched in a while, so that is going to be fun. Funny thing is I have to re-read one of my old novels to get a feel for the character all over again.

Even in between periods of non publishing books from D&C as well as all of your other stand alone’s we still remember … Looking/waiting for that holy grail of E-Mails telling us another Glenn Bullion book is out!!! Can’t wait for Trial to come out… Thanks for the teaser. A fix is always a good thing!!

Thanks much. π I had to update my site, been so long since I’ve kept the code up to date. I “may have” emailed everyone this latest post twice, hope not. Have to love WordPress plugins.
Funny thing is I’ve released one novel this year. I guess it’s a good thing everyone wants two. π

Thanks for the update. As for feeling lucky that “everyone wants two” novels in a year; no pressure at all, but I think you’ll find that we are happy to buy and read as many novels as you feel like writing!
Glad to hear things are going well. π

Ha believe me, I’m not complaining. People saying “I want to read your stuff, give me more” is definitely not a bad thing.
That’s one of the reasons I tried Broken Home. A short story, I thought I could “keep the work flowing” by throwing out a short story every now and then. I liked the work, but I like to dive “deep” into a novel.

Hey Glen, just wanted to say that broken home was great!! that shorter book was a real good fix for in between novels, if more of those come out we would all buy em in a heart beat!!

I had an email that made me “reflect” on Broken Home a bit more. A lot of readers didn’t put the pieces together I’d laid out there. I think I was way too vague about what was happening, and how it fit into the world.
Most readers picked up on “Byron” (aka Jack). But the identities of the rest of the cast was a mystery to most.

Really? I thought it was pretty evident as long as you were currently read up on the series. If people couldn’t figure it out then they obviously hadn’t reread Demon Spawn recently enough. Anyways, thanks for the update, I was getting a bit worried. Looking forward to Trial.

Awesome man! Looking forward to reading your next work! Any chance some of your stand alone book characters will be making an appearance? A shape shifter and half demon would screw with Jack’s mind lol. Keep it up we can’t wait.

I was oh so close to spinning the ending to Shapeless, where Brady would find a job posting for Demons LLC. π

Cant fault you for keeping your standalones apart but boy it sounds like a fun read.

I told myself when writing Shapeless that I would leave it open in my head on whether it felt like a Damned and Cursed novel or not. I’d change the ending when I got to it, if needed. But it felt more and more like that story was its own. But yeah, I really wanted to end it with him looking at a “help wanted” ad online. π

Was hoping that character was going to be Marie, All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy…

As long as we know that you are still alive and writing, everything is fine. It’s when an author disappears that people start to get nervous. There’s no way of telling what might have happened. You could have gone to research a setting and had a cliff collapse beneath your feet. You could have ended up in your own version of “Misery”. You could have opened the wrong web page and been eaten by an inter-dimensional creature that had been set loose on our plane of existence through a clever mix of witchcraft and coding. Or worse, you could have decided that you were better off writing sitcoms under a pen name! *shudder*
As a side note, I tried to avoid mentioning dismemberments involving power tools, rabies, amazonian catfish, and the ever present possibility that a rogue hunter sent a duck plummeting through your windshield bill first only to be stopped by your heart (and stopping your heart in turn). Unfortunately my warped/morbid sense of humor and lack of inhibitions when speaking to complete strangers compelled me to add those as well.
Hope your plotting is going well! π

I blame a combination of genetics, fantasy novels, sci-fi, and the carol burnette show.

That would be a funny sight. A zombie shuffling around dragging around a keyboard randomly stopping to drool and tap at it…….. Or maybe thats an accurate description isn’t it?

I have been reading your books for years, If you wrote twenty books a year and charged twenty dollars a book at 400 pages each I would still be more than happy to pay

Been enjoying Canned and Cursed, but Damn I’ve been waiting so long for a new on. This is one of my favorite series of books, This and John Conroe’s Demon accords. So today is my 65th birtday. So you’re not just popular with the YA crowd. Found your website today, grateful that you are working on a new one. But the pain is so hard that I am rereading the series, just starting Demons LLC tonight. I really like how both your and Conroe’s characters become wonderfully dysfunctional families. Don’t want to keep you from your work . However if I have to re-read the series for a third time. Jack will be informed.

I just posted on FB a list of all the books I’ve read last year (97 if you’re wondering) and realized when I saw your Shapeless book that I better check to see if I’m missing another killer book. Good thing is I’m not. Bad news is I’m not!
