Even a demon has a beginning.
The year is 1973. Janet Fields is living the stereotypical American Dream. She has a loving husband, two wonderful daughters, and a beautiful home away from the hustle of city life. Life couldn’t be any better.
That changed the day the stranger invaded her home, and tore apart not only everything Janet knew about her life, but also the world around her.

Well this certainly is timely. I was just on the blog a couple of nights ago looking for any updates from the mind of Glenn Bullion. How exciting! This is a great teaser and I can’t wait to read more. Need any beta readers? 😀
Whatever the case, I’m sure you’ll hook me in within the first three paragraphs. Thanks for swinging through and letting us know what you’ve been up to, Glenn!
Sincerely,
David Snider

Of course only AFTER I post the comment to the world do I realize that you said that book thoughts will be coming soon. Having said that, I think that the idea so far has potential.

This sounds somewhat familiar. I hope it’s different from the book I’m thinking of. Anyway, I’m sure you’ll put a great twist on this.

Oh lordie, fill me in. 🙂 I certainly don’t want to sound familiar to something else.
I admit, I should probably change that description a bit for the short story. I made it generic (as it turns out to be anything but) on purpose. How many movies and books sounds just like that? Although it’s probably not the best idea for pushing this particular story. 🙂 I think people will like it though, especially when it’s revealed what’s “really” happening.
It should be about 30K words, a relatively short work. 99 cents, so it should make for a quick, fun read.

Read this last night when I was scanning around Amazon. Great story! I’m glad you’re keeping these coming.

Cannot get enough of Jack Kursed and his friends. Mostly, I cannot get enough of Jack. Please, more Jack (and I don’t mean Jack Daniels ha ha). I like your stuff. I’m greedy …more, more, more. Please?
