I’m looking for 5-6 readers to give Broken Home a read-through. Just looking for the standard stuff. Does it make sense? Was it enjoyable? Is there anything that needs to be cleared up/made better/even omitted? Would you be willing to pay 99 cents for it? $1.99? Ā (new at short story pricing)
You can get in touch with me via email, the comments section, etc. The cool thing is it is a short read. I’m hoping it’s equivalent to a bowl of popcorn. š
The next few days will be Broken Home editing days. I’ve let that sit long enough now that it will be kind of “new” in my head, making editing a better experience. It’s only 23K words, so it shouldn’t take long at all. Then I’ll let whoever wants to read it give their opinion, like always. Since I consider this a short story, I believe I’ll only charge 99 cents for it. Hopefully, 400 million people will buy it at that price. š
I haven’t been idle in the meantime though. Demons LLC has a solid start now, and I think the story is coming together really well. I like the supporting characters in this novel. At the moment, they’re only meant to enhance this novel, but any of them could have stories/adventures of their own. That’s why I really enjoy the Damned and Cursed universe. There’s still so much to go through in this world.
Just a quick little update. Broken Home isn’t far from release now. I’m going to edit it in a week, but it’s only a 23K word short story, so that won’t take long at all. The beta reading should fly by, too, and then it will be out.
The year is 1973. Janet Fields is living the stereotypical American Dream. She has a loving husband, two wonderful daughters, and a beautiful home away from the hustle of city life. Life couldnāt be any better.
That changed the day the stranger invaded her home, and tore apartĀ not only everything Janet knew about her life, but also the world around her.

Home Invasion
Home Invasion, with a most unsympathetic invader. A day-in-the-life of a terrified housewife, her two children, and a neighbor child, thrown into the mix. As this short story/short novella progresses, we learn the most interesting back-story of another "Damned and Cursed" primary character. We also see that the terrified housewife should have listened to (Byron's) final recommendation and checked the clubhouse.

Next great book in the Damned and Cursed series!
Loved this book! Any fan of Glenn's books will enjoy this installment in the series. Having a glimpse into the past of a few characters was great as well as the strength of the mother in this story. If you liked the Dammed and Cursed series as much as I ( I have read them 5 times each) you will not regret buying this book, it is well worth the price. Anxiously waiting for your next book "Demons LLC".
Glenn keep them coming!

Disturbing and oddly satisfying
I loved this short book. I loved that it ties in so well with the rest (I got a kick out of the book being in Jack's "Byron" years) and of course Jack's twisted good guy/bad guy moments suck you in too. As always the author takes a crazy/ugly situation and ties it up in a bow that should be disturbing but is in fact oddly satisfying. Bravo
Hey everybody. First of all, I wanted to thank everyone for checking out my books. I tend to go a bit into “media blackout” when I release a book. I don’t follow reviews too much, at least for a while. It turns out Witch’s Kurse has been really well received. I’m sure one of the reasons is word of mouth, and I wanted everyone to know I really appreciate the spreading of the word.
I thought I’d drop a few hints as to my next two projects. I’m working on a short story at the moment. I can’t imagine it’ll be the length of my other works, but it should be an interesting little tale. The hard part now is getting back into it š I cranked out Witch’s Kurse at a crazy pace, something like 2K words a day. That burnt me out a little, but I think I’m about recovered. The short story is centered around a home invasion, but I won’t go any more into it.
The next idea I have, but am still developing, is a tale with Alex Teague, from the Damned and Cursed series. I’ve got a central idea, and a lot of cool scenes, but I’m looking to tie it all together.
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything, but just wanted to let everyone know I was still around. š
Looking through some logs, it looks like GMail might have moved many of the contact requests forms into my junk email. It looks like I haven’t responded to a lot of them, which I’ll correct shortly. š I don’t anyone thinking I’m ignoring them.
I hope you guys like it. š Let me know either way. Feedback is always good. Here is the link to the Amazon page. It’s up on Smashwords, but will probably be a bit before it’s available directly from Apple and Barnes and Noble.
Witch’s Kurse continues the adventures of the characters we’ve all met before in the Damned and Cursed series. This one focuses mainly on Jack, but there are a few surprises in store, as well as a new addition. This is my longest work to date, and the cost for the eBook version is $3.99.
The challenge in this work to write was the multiple stories. There are several, but in the end they all come together. Hopefully I did a good job weaving together an entertaining tale. There’s also Jack himself, always a pain. Riding that balance with him is always fun, always difficult. š He is not a nice man, even bordering on being a villain at times. There are points in the novel, especially with his dialog, that it seems he really is a villain. But he loves his daughter, and he’s not exactly sleepless anymore. š That helps keep him from the brink.
Anyway, enjoy. I’d love to talk about the novel some more, but don’t want to spoil things.
Oh one last thing. I checked every feasible thing I could format-wise (had some issues this time. Amazon, for some reason, wanted to delete trailing apostrophes this go-round), but if you spot anything major that bugs you, just holler at me.
Hey guys. Just wanted to give a quick update on the release of Witch’s Kurse. It should be any day now. I was going to sit down with Scrivener and get the formatting all ready to go, but a plumbing emergency has kind of moved that a little somewhat. š I was shooting for tomorrow (Friday), but that might move to Saturday or Sunday. But now that I think about it, is a book release on a weekend even a good idea? Do people keep track of that stuff?
Anyway, I’m sorry for the delay, but Jack is getting ready to bust out any time now. š As always, the eBook will be available first, followed by the print version. Maybe, if demand seems high enough, an Audible version will show up as well.
I’m not sure how many people that actually come to my site will be interested in this, as I’m guessing Jack Kursed has already been digested and read. But I’m working on getting an audiobook out of Jack Kursed, using ACX.com. I’m new to that whole process, but in the end, it will be available on Amazon and iTunes, as well as Audible.com. So, if you have friends that would rather have Jack’s unique vision of the world in their ear instead of on paper or tablet, that is in the works. š
If there’s more demand, I may work on getting the rest of my work in audio format as well.
Witch’s Kurse is in beta now. With the feedback I’ve received so far, all looks pretty good. š I have to correct the usual, missing words, wrong words, etc. After that, it’ll be out, with the print version hopefully not too far behind.
I’ve started on the next story. Many scenes have popped in my head, which is good, because this won’t be a long one. š The plus side is I’ll knock down the price, of course. I’m shooting for possibly 30K words, and I won’t charge $2.99 for 30K words.
I won’t say too much about the new idea, but it will be neat to see the reaction from readers. It’s almost two stories in one, depending on which perspective you read it from. I know that doesn’t make much sense, but it will be clear when it’s done. š
