And Dead Living Will Be Out….
In December. Just in time for Christmas. 🙂 I obviously wish it would come out sooner, but December is a good month to kill some zombies . The cover you see here won’t be the final cover, however. That’s another thing I’m waiting for. I can’t wait to see the new cover.
For those who don’t know, Dead Living has actually been out there in the wild already. I released it last year, and it did pretty well. You can see the old reviews on Amazon still. In fact, it did so well it caught the attention of Permuted Press, a press that specializes in apocalyptic fiction. I figured they could do some things with it that I could not, put it in front of more eyes, and it’s been a joy to work with them. I honestly think it will be a success a second time around as well.
I don’t read many zombie books. I do that on purpose, as I don’t want the ideas of other authors to seep into mine. Because of that I can’t tell you how Dead Living differs from other zombie books. I can tell you I’m still proud of the two main characters I created in this novel, Aaron and Samantha (Sam). Dead Living is sprinkled with side characters as well that somehow stuck with me. Richardson, Larry, Garrett and Ray, young Amanda, Derek, Nikki, Aaron’s family, and of course, the corpses themselves. 🙂
If anything changes in regards to release date I’ll post an update. I’m also hoping I’ll be able to share the cover early when it’s done. Cross your fingers on that one.

Awesome news. I have been reading all your books since I finished “A Witch to Live” a few days ago and was frantic that I could not find a copy of “Dead Living”. Keep it up! Love all of your characters.

Congrats Glenn!! I’m your biggest fan!
I’m excited/mortified to see what changes the publisher/editor wanted. But overall I’m very very excited. I’ve read Dead Living four times now and simply LOVE it! Love it!
I’m also a huge fan of the Demonspawn universe. Love those characters and can’t wait to see what trouble they get into next!
Good luck with everything!

The editing was actually very cool. 🙂 There were no changes at all to the story, just fixing little mistakes I made, changing some word choices, that kind of thing. It turned out very well.
I’m looking forward to the next novel as well. 🙂 I have some cool ideas for Alex, Kevin, Jack, etc.

When I got my Kindle a few years ago, Dead Living was one of the first books I purchased. I loved it. I’d like to see a sequel.

I’m glad you liked it. 🙂 I can’ wait until December when it comes back out. Also got confirmation that it will be released in Audible format as well.
I think I’ll attempt a sequel one day. I just love zombie stories, and I don’t think I can resist revisiting. I just have to come up with that perfect story.
